About Tiffany
I am a Resident in Counseling with 2 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and life transitions. I strive to foster resilience, self-awareness, and emotional balance while creating a safe and welcoming space for meaningful growth and healing.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and began my career as a community-based mental health professional. My work draws from cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic principles to help clients gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and create lasting emotional change.
I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. My goal is to walk beside clients as they pursue healing, personal growth, and peace. Together, we’ll create a path toward greater self-understanding and emotional freedom—one that honors your unique story and empowers you to thrive.

"As a woman of color, I strive to assist individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in navigating life’s challenges with understanding, empowerment, and healing."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
As an African American woman, I have witnessed the lasting effects of unaddressed mental health concerns and generational trauma within my own family and community. These experiences inspired me to become a counselor so I could help others break cycles of pain, promote healing, and support individuals in achieving emotional well-being and personal growth.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are open to personal growth and ready to explore the patterns and experiences that shape their lives. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds who value a collaborative, compassionate, and empowering therapeutic approach.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing is not a linear process — it takes time, patience, and self-compassion. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” yourself but about understanding yourself more deeply and learning new ways to cope and grow. Every small step forward is meaningful progress, even when it doesn’t feel that way.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive environment focused on getting to know them, their story, goals, and what brought them to therapy. We’ll discuss their background, current challenges, and what they hope to achieve. Early sessions are about building trust, identifying priorities, and creating a personalized plan for growth and healing.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is deeply informed by my values of empathy, authenticity, and cultural humility. Having witnessed the effects of unaddressed mental health challenges within my own community, I am passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a safe, inclusive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal and grow
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs by taking a collaborative, individualized approach that honors their personal experiences, strengths, and goals. I integrate evidence-based methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed techniques, while remaining flexible and responsive to what resonates most with each client’s personality and pace of healing.
