Tara Lineberry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia and has over 15 years of experience assisting children, adolescents, adults, and couples with mental health, relationship, and trauma concerns. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Development/Human Services from Virginia Tech and received her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. Tara has experience conducting therapeutic sessions in both the inpatient psychiatric and outpatient mental health settings.  

Tara utilizes multiple therapeutic modalities to try to best meet the needs of each individual, couple, and family. These include strength based, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, mindfulness based, emotion focused, and solution focused therapies. Additionally, Tara has an extensive history assisting survivors of trauma including intimate partner violence, sexual violence, harassment, grief/loss, and military.
