Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I wanted to become a social worker after experiencing loss at a young age. I wanted to make a difference in individuals' lives by offering an outlet for client's to process their emotions.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients that are open to the therapeutic process.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am excited to work with client's who are open to the therapeutic setting and are willing to challenge themselves to make lasting changes that will allow them to feel confident in themselves no matter the struggles they face.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish that all clients knew that despite the struggles and difficulties that they face, there is always hope.

I chose to practice at Thriveworks due to the bountiful opportunities to be challenged and grow as a clinician.
What inspires you?
Positive, confident, and goal-oriented individuals inspire me. Also, my children and mother inspire me to believe in myself.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect a comfortable environment where they can share their history and the goals they would like to meet. Additionally, aspects such as confidentiality and expectations will be discussed as well.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
The main accomplishment I would like to pursue during my client's first session is to make them feel comfortable and safe.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I am always open to feedback, if you find that you have any during our sessions please don't hesitate to share.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
When I am not working I love to go on trail walks, walk my dog, play with my children, paint, listen to music, go to concerts, and travel. I also love to read and play video games from time to time.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I generally live a very simple life and live by the golden rule of treating others how you want to be treated. I feel that showing empathy and being open-minded in my personal life helps me become a better clinician.
