About Justin
During my career, I have served on active duty in the United States Army and completed rotations in a sleep clinic, primary care center, and cognitive evaluation. I also completed training experiences at a community mental health center in rural Iowa and private practices in Lancaster, PA, and Virginia Beach, VA. I have supervised multiple clinical trainees at various levels and have taught several courses as an adjunct professor. I tailor each treatment to each individual client and enjoy working with clients in every stage of life.
I have trained in many techniques and treatments and my approach to each client is customized to the individual. I am also flexible in approach, changing and adapting as needed to assist in your success.
I look forward to hearing your story and being a part of your therapeutic journey.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Psychology is one of my passions.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Anyone who is willing to be open and honest while working together to achieve his/her goals.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
A good therapist will assist you in developing a safe space to open up.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
A smile, some quirky humor, and a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I enjoy many "geeky" interests (Lord of the Rings, MCU, Star Wars, etc.), playing board games, PS5 games, resistance training, cooking, traveling, volunteering at church, and of course spending time with my adorable dog, Hayley. I also deeply enjoy cinema and try to watch a movie a day.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I have training in nearly all major therapeutic treatments and meet patients where they are at to create a unique approach that meets the patient's needs and goals.
