About Geralyn
Geralyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Virginia with an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynchburg College. As a trained perinatal therapist, she holds a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. A mother of two, Geralyn became aware of the gaps in support for women across different stages of life, particularly during the postpartum period, which shaped her passion for women’s mental health.
Geralyn works with women of all ages navigating life transitions, identity shifts, relationships, motherhood, and the emotional demands of daily life. She supports expecting and new parents while also holding space for women in every season, recognizing both the challenges and strengths that come with each phase.
She strives to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you feel safe, seen, and understood. Her approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and she believes the most important aspect of therapy is the connection built together.
During your time together, you will leave each session with actionable insights and practical exercises tailored to your unique situation. These are designed to support meaningful change and help you carry what you learn into your everyday life between sessions.
