Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Because I felt as though this was part of my calling and that I could help someone change their life for the better.

What types of clients do you work with best?

I work best with clients who are willing and open to change.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I am most excited to work with clients who I feel as though I can make a difference, and who are ready to see a change and are willing to put in the work to get there.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

Everyone has been given a set of gifts that they need to identify and use in their lives to accomplish their purpose.

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

I chose to practice at Thriveworks to broaden my clientele and to learn more about working for an outpatient company, as I started out as a therapist in an inpatient substance use treatment facility.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by my faith in Jesus to help others.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

A warm welcome and understanding more about themselves and their background.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I would like to accomplish building rapport for us to be able to move forward in a trustworthy manner, as well as hearing what my clients are hoping to accomplish in therapy.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?

I like to challenge my clients!

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

I bake for fun/on my time off, as this is therapeutic for me and a sweet form of self care.
