What can clients expect in their first session with you?

In the first session we will spend some time getting to know one another. We will identify why you are seeking counseling at this time and the challenges you are facing as well as some of the changes that you are looking to make while working together. I will give you an overview of my counseling style and how I like to work with clients including what you can expect of me. Next we will establish a tentative plan together and identify some goals to begin working on. I will answer any questions that you might have. Finally, we will discuss a schedule that will work best for you and get your next appointment on the books.
