About Andrew
I am a Resident in Counseling with 2 years of experience helping people strengthen their mental health in a wide range of settings. I am a compassionate, empathetic, and collaborative counselor who supports clients as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, career dissatisfaction, spiritual turbulence, and identity struggles. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. My approach to therapy is person-centered and focused on helping clients gain new insights and perspectives. I often integrate art, music, humor, and spirituality to encourage reflection, healing, and positive change in meaningful ways.
Seeking mental health support is a courageous and hopeful act. It doesn’t mean your life is falling apart—it means you believe things can improve. I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you uncover your strengths and rediscover joy. Together, we can explore what’s next and see how much better life can truly be.

"As a helping professional who knows what it feels like to doubt one's own inner wisdom, I am committed to empowering people to discover and utilize the strengths and assets they already possess to improve their mental health."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My life has always improved as a result of developing new perspectives and new solutions to the problems I am facing at any juncture of life. I became a counselor because I love to work with others to explore those new perspectives and solutions.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I love to work with clients who feel stuck in a rut and who are willing to explore whatever avenues they can to get out and start living a more fulfilling life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I believe that, no matter the circumstance, everyone can improve their mental health by improving their perspective. I often tell clients, "You can walk out of every session with all the same circumstances you had when you walked in, but with a fresh perspective for how to improve and enjoy your life." Some circumstances can't be changed, but your perspective can always improve.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the early stages of our working relationship, I will spend a great deal of time getting to know you as a person. I want to learn your strengths and assets so we can lean on those as we progress toward your goals. I want to gain a strong understanding of your perspective of the goals you have for yourself so we can know we're working toward the same things.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Every client deserves a completely individualized plan of care. I am, above all other approaches to therapy, a person-centered counselor, which means I am committed to helping each client discover their own solutions and strengths to address their own presenting problems. This results in highly customized care
