About Andrea
I am a Resident in Counseling with 20 years of experience. I specialize in supporting women through life transitions, stress, grief, and the journey of reclaiming their sense of self. I create a safe and welcoming environment where clients can breathe, reflect, and take practical steps toward growth and healing. With a background in coaching and community work, I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth approach that encourages resilience and lasting change.
I hold a Master’s in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Rutgers University. My work combines talk therapy with reflective and body-based tools to support healing and growth. I guide clients in slowing down, finding clarity, and navigating life’s challenges with confidence, compassion, and practical strategies.
I understand how hard it can be to take the first step toward help, and I offer a supportive, judgment-free space to share what’s on your heart. I welcome clients to begin their healing journey with the reassurance that they do not have to figure it out alone. Together, we will focus on creating meaningful steps toward lasting healing and self-discovery.

"I understand what it means to carry a lot on your shoulders, and I’m here to help you find a softer way forward."
Get to know Andrea
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My decision to become a counselor grew out of a passion for helping people find their voice, especially during seasons when life feels heavy or uncertain. I believe everyone deserves support, tools, and a safe place to heal.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Andrea works best with clients who feel stuck between holding it all together and wanting something different for themselves. She supports adults facing stress, loss, or caregiving pressures and values working with those open to reflection, honesty, and growth.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
Andrea is most excited to work with clients who are ready to be honest about where they are and curious about what change could look like. She enjoys walking alongside those who want support in letting go of old patterns and creating space for something new.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Andrea wants clients to know that therapy isn’t about being “fixed”—it’s about being seen, heard, and supported as you take steps at your own pace.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose Thriveworks because of its commitment to accessible, high-quality care and the supportive environment it provides for both clients and clinicians. I value being part of a team that helps clients connect with the right resources and support.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by the courage it takes to be honest, vulnerable, and open to growth. Every story holds wisdom, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they uncover new possibilities.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first meeting, I focus on listening to your story and what matters most to you right now. You can expect a calm, down-to-earth conversation where we explore your goals and begin mapping out how therapy can support you.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
In the first session, my main goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard and understood. I want to learn what brings you in, what matters most to you right now, and begin building trust together.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Before scheduling, I want clients to know that I bring a calm, down-to-earth style to therapy. You don’t need to come in with all the answers—I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll figure out the next steps together.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my free time, I enjoy crafts, journaling, and finding new creative projects that let me slow down and recharge.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me is my ability to see beauty in small, everyday moments—like a good cup of coffee, a long walk, or a quiet morning.
