About Andre
I specialize in working with people with ADHD and autism, as well as anyone looking for a space where they can feel genuinely heard. As your therapist, I will not be another voice telling you to push through and make things work when they just won't. I will show up as a kind, calm person who's ready to meet you where you are without judgement. I’ll take the time to get to know you, learn what matters to you, and work with you to create the change you're looking for. If you're feeling overwhelmed and unsure about where to even begin, that's okay. We can figure it out together!
In our sessions, you’ll have space to talk openly about whatever is on your mind. I can offer structure, feedback, and practical guidance when that’s helpful, while also giving you room to slow down, sort through your thoughts and emotions, and make sense of what you’re experiencing.
You deserve a life that is authentic and feels like your own. If you’re thinking about starting therapy, feel free to reach out for a free consultation or initial appointment. We can talk, get to know each other a little, and see if working together feels like a good fit. I'm available to work virtually with anyone in VA or SC.

"As a therapist, I will do all that I can to learn who you are and what you're looking for, and then help create truly meaningful change."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a counselor as a result of my own struggles with mental health when I was younger. I wanted to help others overcome similar obstacles and improve their quality of life. I also find it gratifying to do work that can have an immediate and observable effect on the lives of others.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I am open to working with many types of clients. I specialize in working with neurodivergent people, specifically those with ADHD and ASD, as well as those who struggle with trauma, feelings of depression, and disordered general anxiety. I also have a great deal of experience working with those with social anxiety.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I would like it if people had more of a general awareness about how casual and warm therapy can be as an experience. You're going to be talking with another human being who is there to help you with anything you are coming in with and who will meet you where you're at. I'm not going to give you a cold stare and sit silently psychoanalyzing you.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session together, you will have the opportunity to share your story with me and your goals for starting therapy. I will take what you share and use it to create a specialized plan for treatment that focuses on the issues you need help with. In future sessions, we’ll work together to help you achieve your goals and create a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and your own.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
One of the reasons that I specialize in working with people who are neurodivergent is because of how often they feel misunderstood by others in their life, including specialists in medical and mental health fields. As a neurodivergent individual myself, this is something I'm familiar with. I aim to be someone who people can genuinely feel seen by, even if they struggle to with others.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor my sessions to the needs of every client I work with. Some of my clients come in and have a very clear idea of a topic they want to process, a feeling they are struggling with, or a behavior they want to change. For them, I provide space to talk and structure to help them find solutions for the issues they are facing. Other clients I work with sometimes have much less of an idea about where to go in therapy, and just know that they need help. For these people, I'm happy to help them gain insight into their issues and then work collaboratively on a plan to create change.
