Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I believe that mental health is an important piece to everyone's overall well-being. A crisis does not need to occur for one to seek out therapy. Routine maintenance, for an individual's mental well-being a beneficial tool for their overall quality of life.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Anyone who is open and ready to begin the journey. These individuals acknowledge that it is a process and they are eager to tackle the goal of improving their mental health.
