About Yeteast Ashley
Yeteast Ashley Green is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She has over 3 years of experience assisting teens, adults, and seniors who are seeking help in managing the effects of addiction, OCD, racial identity issues, low self-esteem, alcohol abuse, anxiety, depression, anger, and poor coping skills.
Yeteast received a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Counseling from the College of Biblical Studies—Houston in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2011 from the University of Phoenix—Houston. She begin training for her license in chemical dependency in 2008, working part-time at a residential home for men. Yeteast graduated from Houston Baptist University with a Master of Art in Psychology. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and more.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
To bring comfort to those who feel that there is no hope.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Teenagers, and adults who suffer with addiction but open to help where needed.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I have worked with clients who suffer from addictions, but I am looking forward to working with any clients
What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?
I am here to assist you in achieving your goals.

I love the way the company is set up, with opportunities for learning, expanding knowledge, no pressure, and the flexibility .
What inspires you?
I hate to see people suffer as if there is no hope. I am a teacher by nature and hope to learn and grow with the client.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
The client and myself will sit and discuss options that may help them reach their goals and safe and comfortable way for everyone.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I pray that the client and myself are a great fit and we can establish a trusting client/therapist relationship and agree to work on setting some goal.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I love to explore and research options and doing so with a smile.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love to cook, fish, needle felt and doing puzzles.
What’s one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I am a learner I love to explore new things especially words. I like to try to use the word of the day in a sentence that relates to what I am experiencing.
