About Tiara
Tiara Mayfield-Bond is a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of experience working in an array of environments including substance abuse, post-educational, and with military families, providing mental health and transitional assistance to youth and adults. She is focused on treating depression, anxiety and healing from trauma.
Tia holds a Master's degree from Texas Southern University in Counseling Education. She conveys empathy, and her goal is to educate and model best practices in becoming your best self no matter what you’re facing. Mental and physical barriers can bring challenges, yet there is still life to be lived and enjoyed. She’s non-judgmental and understands the importance of communication.

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I have always had a passion for helping others through traumatic situations and working towards being the best version of themselves as possible.

Always have hope. There's beauty on the other side of fear.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
During the first session I would like to make sure that my clients feel comfortable and perceive me as a empathetic and understanding therapist.
