Samantha Robinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas who specializes in working with couples, young adults, adolescents, and survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual abuse. Samantha is passionate about helping her clients cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma, empowering them to discover their strengths, overcome their challenges, and achieve their goals. Samantha uses a client-centered approach to provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate space for her clients to heal and grow.
Samantha has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Jackson State University and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. She helps clients in therapy by using various therapeutic techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness techniques, or person-centered therapy.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a mental health counselor because I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and growth. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and empowered to overcome life's challenges, and I wanted to be a source of guidance and support in that process.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with couples, young adults, senior and intimate partner violence victims and sexual abuse victims.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that mental health professionals are committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential space where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of criticism or stigma.
