About Patricia

I have 10 years of experience in the adolescent and adult populations as well as family and couples work. I treat a variety of behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, community mental health settings, and in child welfare.

I utilize Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Focused Therapy. My goal is to empower clients to discover their self-worth and reduce anxiety and other problematic behaviors. I offer a variety of services including learning coping skills, processing distressing events, trauma-informed therapy, and yoga.

I would like to assist each client with building skills and processing feelings so they can live their best life! If this sounds like something we can do together, contact me and let's get started!

"I understand each and every one of us has a story. A story with lots of seasons. Good seasons and not so good seasons. I understand how working through our past can move us into a new season. A season where we feel empowered."

Get to know Patricia

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

After the loss of a close friend in high school, my journey for healing took place. I explored all alternatives to decrease the feelings associated with the trauma.

What types of clients do you work best with?

All. Just showing up for session is what is needed!

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

There is no right or wrong and definitely no time line. We work at different paces.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

First session includes intake and assessments if needed. Then we complete a treatment plan together with goals we work to complete.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I am empathetic and non judgmental.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

No set therapeutic technique works all the time. We listen to where the client is going and we mold treatment in that direction.
