About Lizbeth
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 4 years of experience working with individuals ages 12 through 40+ who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and symptoms that interfere with daily functioning. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.
I earned my master’s degree in counseling from the University of Texas Permian Basin. My work is practical and skills-focused, incorporating dialectical behavior therapy, internal family systems, and EMDR to address underlying emotional patterns, trauma, and somatic symptoms. I integrate psychoeducation to help clients better understand their experiences.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process where you can feel safe, supported, and understood. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, building insight and practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and capable in your daily life.

"I use a warm, client-centered clinical approach, working collaboratively with you to address challenges and support meaningful change."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became an LPC because I believe people deserve a safe space to be understood without judgment. I’m passionate about helping individuals make sense of their experiences, learn practical skills, and reconnect with their strengths so they can move through life with more clarity and confidence.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or trauma-related symptoms who want a supportive, skills-based approach to creating meaningful change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish people knew that therapy doesn’t require a crisis to be helpful. You can come in feeling unsure or overwhelmed therapy is simply a space to explore, learn, and grow with support.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the early stages of therapy, we’ll focus on understanding your concerns, identifying goals, and establishing a sense of safety and collaboration. You can expect psychoeducation, practical tools, and open conversation as we build a plan that fits your needs.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
It is important for me as a clinician that I value feedback and transparency above all. As you let me into your life, it is important that you give me feedback to what it is that you need out of therapy.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to understand what’s driving your symptoms and what you want from therapy, then thoughtfully integrate skills, insight, and pacing that align with your unique needs.
