I have worked in various settings over the past 13 years and have great passion in working in the outpatient field. I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, stress, and major life transitions. My ideal client may be struggling with relationships, navigating major life transitions such as a new career, health challenges, or family changes, or working through women’s issues like balancing roles, identity shifts, or life-stage transitions. At the heart of it, my ideal client is searching for support, tools, and a safe space to process what they’re going through.
I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based techniques, person-centered therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support client needs in a personalized, collaborative manner. My goal is to help clients build resilience and create lasting change.
I understand that life can feel overwhelming at times, whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationship or parenting challenges, or navigating changes in your life. I provide a safe, supportive space to explore your concerns, build coping skills, and gain clarity. If you’re ready to feel more supported and balanced, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

"Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to go through it alone."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My decision to become a counselor was inspired by watching the positive impact therapy had on my oldest sister’s life. She struggled with mental health challenges, and through counseling, she learned coping skills and ways to better manage her emotions. Seeing how therapy helped her navigate life differently showed me how meaningful counseling can be. It inspired me to help others who are struggling find ways to manage life’s challenges, develop skills to support their emotional well-being, and discover hope for the future.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with clients who feel overwhelmed by life's circumstances and are looking for support and understanding. I enjoy helping clients navigate school, work, relationships, and life transitions while developing coping skills, building confidence, and finding healthier ways to manage everyday life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that they have strengths within themselves, even when life's circumstances make them difficult to see. Therapy isn't about someone telling you how to live your life; it's about having a safe, supportive space to explore your feelings, recognize your strengths, and discover what works best for you. You don't have to have all the answers or know where to begin. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you develop the tools, confidence, and resources to navigate life's difficulties in a way that feels right for you.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to counseling and what you hope will change. You can share at your own pace, without pressure to have everything figured out. I'll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to understand your experiences and identify tools, resources, and practical steps that build on your strengths and support your goals. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and know we're working together throughout your journey.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My personal experiences, spiritual background, and seeing the positive impact of therapy in my own family have shaped my approach to therapy. I want to help clients recognize the strengths they already have within themselves and assist in developing the tools and confidence needed to navigate life's circumstances and manage everyday challenges more effectively.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I take time to understand each client's experiences, strengths, and individual needs. I adjust my approach based on what each person is experiencing, drawing from evidence-based practices and working collaboratively to identify tools, resources, and practical strategies that fit their circumstances and goals.
