I’m a licensed professional counselor with experience supporting adults and couples through life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected. I work with clients who may appear to have everything together but find themselves overwhelmed, unfulfilled, or repeating patterns they’re ready to change. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, develop healthier ways of coping, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct, blending evidence-based strategies with genuine conversation and practical tools. I help clients identify patterns, process difficult experiences, and build greater self-awareness and confidence. You can expect a supportive space where you’ll feel heard while also being challenged to create meaningful change.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes, taking the first step simply means deciding you’re ready for something to feel different. I’m here to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be. When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment and begin that process together.

"I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen and understood, while also being supported and challenged as we work together to create meaningful, lasting change in your life and relationship."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I became a counselor because I’ve always been genuinely curious about people—the experiences that shape us, the patterns we develop, and what helps us heal and grow. I value being able to create a space where people can be honest about what they’re carrying without judgment. For me, counseling is about helping people understand themselves more deeply, recognize their strengths, and make meaningful changes that allow them to live and connect more intentionally.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work best with adults and couples who are ready to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with clients who are open to self-reflection and want a therapist who is compassionate and supportive, but also willing to challenge them when needed.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

I wish every client knew that healing isn’t always linear, and progress doesn’t mean you’ll never struggle again. Therapy is a process of learning to understand yourself differently, recognize patterns, and respond to life in healthier ways. Some of the most meaningful growth can feel uncomfortable at first, but you don’t have to navigate that process alone.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and exploring what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope will change. You don’t have to share everything at once. In the early stages, we’ll work together to identify patterns, clarify your goals, and develop a plan for therapy that feels meaningful and specific to you.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My practice is grounded in empathy, authenticity, curiosity, and the belief that people deserve to feel genuinely seen and understood. I value creating a space where clients can show up as their full selves without judgment. I also believe that our experiences, relationships, culture, and environments shape how we understand ourselves, so I approach each client with respect for the context of their life rather than viewing their struggles in isolation.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I don’t believe therapy should look the same for everyone. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, personality, strengths, needs, and goals, then adapt my approach accordingly. I draw from different evidencebased methods while paying attention to what resonates with you, what challenges you, and what helps you make meaningful progress. Therapy is collaborative, and we’ll continue adjusting our work as your needs evolve.
