About Jessica
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 7 years of experience working with school-aged children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and focus on supporting individuals as they navigate everyday stressors, emotional challenges, and concerns that may feel overwhelming to manage alone.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at San Antonio. My clinical approach is trauma-informed and integrates cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic therapies. I also incorporate grounding, mindfulness, and imagery techniques to help clients strengthen coping skills and emotional regulation.
I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and I strive to create a safe, supportive therapeutic space where growth and self-awareness can unfold. It is a privilege to support individuals on their healing journey, and I look forward to partnering with you as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.

"As a woman who has endured trauma, grief, and loss, I am genuinely caring and want to help others through their most difficult times in life."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a counselor after a huge loss in my life. I analyzed my life and realized how much pain and trauma I had endured. It was then that I knew my life purpose was to help others in their hardest times in life.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are open to exploring their struggles and why their behaviors are what they are. I am open to being patient, building trust, and allowing the client to lead the way on the therapeutic journey with some guidance.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn't linear and everyone's journey is their own path.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first sessions we will work on assessing to see where they are in life and what are the most wanting to work on. We will get to know each other and build trust to form a therapeutic relationship. We will come up with a treatment plan together and continue from there.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I myself have been in therapy and I value each patient's perspectives and goals. The client is their own expert, and I believe that they make their own path with some guidance and support from me.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I meet the client where they are at. They set their own limitations and goals.
