About Jennifer
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 27 years of experience helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I work with individuals across all ages, supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes that improve their quality of life.
I earned a Master’s in Psychology from Regis University. My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, combining evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I focus on helping clients build resilience, self-awareness, and healthy coping strategies for lasting growth.
I understand that seeking help takes courage, and I aim to make that step feel safe and supported. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back and create a path toward healing, balance, and renewed confidence.

"As someone who knows how challenging it can be to ask for help, I approach therapy with compassion, humor, and realness to make growth feel possible and safe."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I believe deeply in the power of being heard and understood. We all carry stories—some filled with pain, others with hope—and I’ve seen how meaningful it can be to have someone walk alongside you during the difficult parts. For me, counseling is more than a profession; it’s a calling to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where people can heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths. I’m continually inspired by the courage of those who seek support, and I feel honored to be part of that journey.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with teenagers, young adults, adults
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients knew is that healing isn’t linear—and that’s okay. Progress in therapy can look different from week to week, and sometimes it feels like taking a step backward is part of moving forward. There’s no 'right' way to heal. What matters most is showing up, being honest with yourself, and allowing space for growth, even when it feels uncomfortable. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin with. Therapy is a process, and you're allowed to take it one step at a time.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you—your story, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you hope to gain—while we begin building a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable opening up.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My work is guided by a deep belief in the power of empathy and connection. I’ve seen how being genuinely understood can create lasting change, and I strive to offer that same experience to my clients
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should fit the client—not the other way around—so I take time to understand your goals, personality, and life experiences, then collaborate with you to find approaches that feel natural and effective.
