Get to know Fallon

Why did you decide to become a counselor?

I became a counselor after I realized I did my best work with people working in the first responder world.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I'm excited to work with anyone. Though, I enjoy working with young adults I feel most successful when working with first responders.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

Difficult and challenging moments don't last forever.

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

I chose Thriveworks for its community presence and easy accessibility to those seeking support.

What inspires you?

I'm chasing the woman I'll be in 10 years.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

Clients can expect an honest and empathetic counselor.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I want my clients to be comfortable, heard and to feel they're having a conversation vs. being 'therapied'.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?

I've been described as 'tender but brutal'.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

When I'm off work, I enjoy hikes, painting, trying to new food places around the city or relaxing at home.

What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

Outside of work I would define myself as curious. Meaning I'm always looking to better myself and self-actualize.
