About Erin
Hi, I'm Erin Perry, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a master's degree in Family Psychology and over six years of experience helping adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Many of my clients are seeking greater emotional balance, healthier relationships, improved communication, increased self-understanding, and practical tools to help them move forward with confidence and purpose.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT, IFS-informed therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy to help clients gain insight, heal old wounds, improve relationships, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Seeking support is a courageous step, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I would be honored to be part of your journey.

"As a therapist who has navigated my own experiences with loss, life transitions, and personal growth, I understand how overwhelming change can feel and how healing can happen through a combination of insight, support, and practical tools. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I genuinely enjoy helping people make sense of their experiences and discover strengths they may not realize they have. There is something incredibly rewarding about walking alongside clients as they gain insight, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives and relationships.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults and couples who are ready to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or questions about identity and self-worth. They are often seeking greater insight, healthier coping strategies, stronger connections, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing is rarely a straight line. Growth often comes through small, consistent steps rather than dramatic breakthroughs, and setbacks don't mean you're failing—they're a normal part of the process. Lasting change happens when we learn to approach ourselves with curiosity, compassion, and patience.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring your goals, concerns, and personal history. In the early stages of therapy, we'll work together to identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools that support meaningful change. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in the belief that every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth, even during life's most difficult seasons. I value authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and meaningful human connection, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, challenge old patterns, and move toward the life they want to build.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to understand each client's unique experiences, strengths, values, and goals, then adapt my approach using evidencebased strategies that best fit their needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I regularly check in to ensure our work together feels meaningful and helpful.
