About Dominique
Dominique Bernard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) in the state of Texas with 14 years of experience. She specializes in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, bipolar, grief, and life transitions. Dominique has worked in crisis intervention, community-based mental health, inpatient mental health, medical social work, outpatient and residential substance abuse, case management, and geriatric and school social work.
Dominique received her Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems.
Dominique believes empathy, effective communication, and acknowledging an individual’s dignity and self-worth are essential for therapeutic success. She assists her clients in reaching their highest potential to achieve better mental, physical, and social well-being.

I believe in creating a safe and non judgmental therapeutic environment, that focuses on being attentive to your concerns. I am open to feedback regards to improving your therapy experience.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Dominique enjoys traveling, watching Netflix/ Hulu series, going to concerts, the Arts, reading self-help books/articles, learning about family history, visiting museums, trying new foods, and watching college football.
