About Dante
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in private practice for 5 years and have had previous experience working in schools, hospitals, and in child welfare agencies. I work with adults, couples, teens, and families struggling with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, conflict, trauma and life transitions.
In my practice, I utilize a relational-based, trauma-informed care approach that incorporates interpersonal neurobiology, parts work, attachment, and mindfulness. I am also trained in EMDR Therapy as well as the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1).
I prioritize helping each of my clients feel seen, valued, and supported, as well as highlighting their strengths. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, irritable or low, or noticing reactions that feel hard to control, I'm glad you're here. It takes courage to start therapy. In our work together, we will focus on building safety and connection first.

"As a therapist, I aim to be collaborative, curious and warm to all of my clients as well as provide a safe, accepting environment where trust can be built. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I really enjoy building relationships and connecting with people of all different backgrounds. My decision to become a therapist grew out of my passion for working with children and parents involved in the child welfare system. Being a part of my client’s personal growth and life journey became something I honored and wanted to continue pursuing in my career. Part of the work that I highly value has also involved recognizing the significant connections between our minds and bodies and the impact of trauma on the brain. Being able to connect with others and offer this kind of support has been wonderfully fulfilling.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Couples, teens, adults.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
It takes time to see results, and the relationship between client and therapist is of utmost importance.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In the first sessions, I like to get to know what my clients are wanting to start therapy for as well as setting some expectations and telling clients about myself and my approach to therapy.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Being relational heavily informs my practice.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Understanding that there isn't a one size fits all approach to therapy and being adaptable given my client's needs.
