About Chandra
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I bring a compassionate, solution-focused approach to my work. My clients are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, life transitions, or grief and loss. They want to learn coping skills, reduce symptoms, gain self-awareness, heal from past trauma, process grief, and improve communication skills in relationships. Together, we focus on developing self-insight, identifying triggers, and building healthy coping skills to process painful emotions and overcome challenges. I help clients gain the tools and confidence to make positive changes, achieve goals, and move forward to balanced lives.
I earned a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas. My therapeutic style integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy to support clients in achieving meaningful change. I believe you are the expert of your own story and that you possess many strengths to help you overcome life’s challenges.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I’m proud of you for getting started. Reach out to schedule an appointment today!

"As a woman who has experienced stress, loss, and trauma, I understand the impact of painful life circumstances and how they challenge us to grow, to build skills, adapt, move forward, and thrive."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I am passionate about helping people experiencing life struggles to overcome and create happier more fulfilling lives.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are open to learn new skills, motivated to make positive changes and ready to take action.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that it's okay not to be okay. You do not have to have it all together. I will meet you where you are. Therapy is a process, together we will work towards your goals, but it will take time and effort. I will be there to support you during the process.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I have experienced stress and emotional challenges which helps me understand my clients on a deeper level and have more compassion as a therapist.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I provide a safe, nonjudgement space where clients can speak freely and feel heard. I listen intently and with compassion and use this information to create an individual treatment plan to fit their unique needs.
