What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
You are stronger and more capable than you think you are.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice with Thriveworks because of the common core goals in helping others and the flexibility in working with a wider range of individuals and schedules.
What inspires you?
I love witnessing the a-ha moments when clients make a new discovery about themselves or gain further insight into a challenging situation they are dealing with.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
I think it is important to work together. You are not alone in this process. There is a basic, genuine connection that occurs in therapy and the understanding that we are all human.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I want to find out what a client's goals are for therapy and together start creating the plan that will get him/her to obtain those goals.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I aim to establish a collaborative, trusting relationship with clients and provide a safe space where clients can freely express themselves.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love reading, cooking and trying new recipes, hiking, and getting off the beaten path.
