Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and a background in supporting children, adolescents, and families. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling to understand your emotions, or simply looking for support, my goal is to provide a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while working toward meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. Together, we'll explore what's holding you back, build practical coping skills, recognize your strengths, and find strategies that work for your everyday life.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm here to meet you with compassion, understanding, and without judgment. When you're ready, I'd love the opportunity to walk alongside you.

"I believe everyone deserves a safe, judgment-free space where they feel truly heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life's challenges and discover their own strengths."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I've always been drawn to understanding people, their experiences, and what makes them who they are. Over time, I realized how powerful it can be to have someone who genuinely listens without judgment. I became a counselor because I wanted to be that person for others. I love helping people recognize their strengths, navigate difficult situations, and discover that they are capable of more than they sometimes give themselves credit for.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I enjoy working with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. My background includes working with children, adolescents, and families, particularly those navigating emotional challenges, stress, behavioral concerns, and difficult relationships. I also enjoy supporting individuals who want to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and create positive changes in their lives.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish everyone knew that you don't have to be in crisis or have everything figured out to benefit from therapy. You don't need to know exactly what to say or where to start. Therapy is your space to show up as you are, and progress doesn't always happen in a straight line. Sometimes the smallest steps lead to the biggest changes, and those steps deserve to be celebrated.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I want to understand who you are, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from our time together. We'll discuss your experiences, concerns, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can expect a relaxed, supportive environment where you're encouraged to be yourself, ask questions, and share openly without fear of judgment. As we move forward, we'll work together to identify meaningful goals and develop strategies that fit your life.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My personal experiences have taught me the importance of resilience, compassion, and having a strong support system during life's challenges. I believe everyone has a story that deserves to be heard without judgment. These values shape how I approach counseling, reminding me to look beyond someone's struggles and see the whole person, including their strengths, experiences, and potential for growth.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I recognize that no two people experience life in exactly the same way, so I don't believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. I take time to understand each client's personality, experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we identify what works best for them, whether that's exploring emotions, building practical coping skills, improving communication, or developing new perspectives. I also regularly check in to make sure our approach continues to feel helpful and meaningful.
