I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified menopause coach, and perinatal therapist with experience supporting women and BIPOC clients through life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, and complex family relationships. I also specialize in supporting parents navigating estrangement and the grief that can accompany it. Using evidence-based approaches including CBT and DBT, I provide compassionate, culturally responsive care focused on building coping skills, emotional well-being, and meaningful change.
My approach is collaborative and practical. I use CBT and DBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing skills to manage stress, anxiety, and difficult emotions. Clients can expect a judgment-free space where we work together to build confidence and create lasting, meaningful change.
You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by change, or healing from a difficult relationship or life transition, you deserve a space where you feel heard and supported. I invite you to take the next step and schedule an appointment so we can begin working toward the life you want.

"I’m passionate about supporting women and BIPOC clients navigating life’s challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, and the pain of family estrangement, and I strive to create a culturally responsive, judgment-free space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I believe people deserve a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My own experiences and professional journey have deepened my understanding of how life transitions, relationships, family dynamics, and unexpected challenges can affect our emotional wellbeing. I’m passionate about helping people recognize their strengths, develop practical tools for navigating difficult seasons, and feel empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with women (perinatal and menopause and middle aged), BIPOC, and estranged parents.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing takes time and they are not alone.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
I will listen more than I speak. I like to gather information and learn where the client wants to go before we start talking about interventions.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My personal and professional experiences have taught me the importance of resilience, compassion, and being truly heard. I understand that life can bring unexpected transitions, complicated relationships, and seasons when you may not recognize yourself. These experiences have shaped my belief that therapy should be a safe, judgment-free space where people can be honest about what they are going through. I value cultural humility, authenticity, collaboration, and helping each client recognize their strengths while developing tools to move forward.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I listened to the clients to determine what type of support they need. I meet people where they are before I determine where we are going.
