About Nyree
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of well-being. Every person has their own unique story, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other behavioral health concerns. I tailor my approach to each client's needs.
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including CBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions. My goal is to help you understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop coping strategies. I work collaboratively with each client, meeting them where they are while supporting their movement toward where they want to be.
Whether you are navigating a difficult season, seeking greater emotional balance, or simply want support in becoming the best version of yourself , I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

"I believe that every person has the capacity to heal and grow, and I am committed to providing a compassionate, judgement -free space where you can feel supported , understood and empowered."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became an LCSW because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing emotional , relational , and life challenges. Social Work gives me the opportunity to look at the whole personnot just the presenting concern and understand how life experiences , relationships and circumstances can impact emotional wellbeing . I find purpose in helping clients identify strengths , develop healthy coping strategies and move toward the life they want.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work well with adolescents and adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and significant life transitions . My goal is to meet each client where they are and walk alongside them at a pace that feels comfortable and empowering.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients know is that healing is rarely linear, and progress in therapy often happens in small, subtle shifts rather than sudden breakthroughs. It is completely normal to have moments where things feel like they are improving and other moments where old feelings, patterns, or challenges resurface. This does not mean therapy is not working , it is often a part of the process of growth and deeper understanding.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During the first session, you can expect a welcoming , judgement free space where we begin getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, your goals and the areas of your life you would like support with .In the beginning stages of therapy , we will focus on building a trusting and comfortable therapeutic relationship. I will also explain what you can expect from therapy and answer any questions you may have. We will work together together to identify where to begin and develop a plan that feels comfortable and meaningful for the client.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in compassion ,respect, empathy and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing . Over the years , both my professional experiences and the relationships I have built with clients have reinforced the importance of truly listening and meeting people where they are.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should be as individual as the person sitting in front of me. I take time to understand each clients experiences , strengths, concerns, goals, and what they hope to gain from therapy. Rather than using a one size fits all approach , I adapt my therapeutic style and interventions based on each client's needs, comfort level and readiness for change.
