I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 13 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, veterans, and families. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood as they navigate life’s challenges.

I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Webster University. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, reality-based therapy, and psychoeducation. I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and remain attentive to symptoms and progress throughout the therapeutic process.

You deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered in your healing journey. Therapy with me is centered on your goals, your experiences, and your growth. Together, we will work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move you toward meaningful and lasting change. You do not have to face this alone, and I am here to help.

"Seeking help for life’s challenges makes you powerful and can lead to personal growth."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I became a counselor to better help people as they work to change or transform their lives. I have always been passionate about helping others since I was a child.

What types of clients do you work best with?

Teenagers, Adults and Elders

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Therapy is a tool, a tool to help you accomplish your goals and see the changes you desire.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

You can expect a safe and welcoming space. No judgement will ever be placed on you.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I have seen so many people struggle because they didn’t know or understand the help that was available to them. I want to help people see the benefits of therapy so that they can tell others. Everyone deserves to be seen and heard.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy based on diagnosis, client expectation (goals) and medical necessity. This will ensure we stay on the right track to meet your goals.
