As a licensed independent social worker (LISW-CP) who has been in the field since 2018 I’ve had amazing opportunities to work with couples and families navigating chronic illnesses and loss, middle schoolers returning from virtual school following the pandemic, postpartum women rediscovering their identity, and adults with substance use disorders. I believe that every client’s different concerns and life circumstances require an evolving and personalized approach. While my techniques and our framework may change, the warmth and inclusivity I can offer in therapy will remain constant.
My approach to therapy is to get to know the whole you and collaborate together to develop a plan that makes sense for your goals and concerns. I’m here with my toolbox ready to help you build your own throughout our time together so that you can be capable of navigating stressors and processing past experiences.
Asking for help can be scary, my goal is to be a safe and soft landing spot to make it a little less scary. When you feel ready to take the next step whether you’re focused on healing, personal growth, or just needing a sounding board for navigating the chaos of life, I’ll be here for you.

"As an inclusive therapist with vast personal and professional experience in navigating loss, anxiety, and adjusting to major life changes I am here to make all of my clients feel seen and heard as a unique individual with unique needs."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a counselor to help others who are asked to carry burdens but aren’t taught how to set them down when they become too large to continue with. As a reformed high achieving eldest daughter I want mental health care to be accessible and approachable to anyone.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are openminded and seeking connection. My primary focuses have been helping clients work through significant trauma and losses. I am familiar with.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
When it’s called a process, they mean it. It’s hard work and takes time, collaboration, and shifting techniques to find the right options for every client.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During the early sessions together my goal is to set expectations for both of us while working together. I want to get to know you and make sure that I’m the right fit for what you are hoping to achieve. We are on your time so truly these sessions need to reflect what you want them to look like.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I like to practice from a judgment free zone. After this many years working in this field I know from first-hand experience that what is presented at the surface level is nowhere near the full story. We all process experiences and emotions so differently so I like to take a person centered view.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I utilized a variety of evidence based practice techniques to help you build your own emotional toolbox. Not every tool is going to work for you and that’s okay, as long as we have open communication in sessions and continue to show up and do the work we will find the right approach for your needs. I strongly believe in meeting clients where they are at and working from there as a team. Most clients need a combination of techniques to reach their desired goals.
