Hello everyone! My name is Olivia Dominey and I am a Licensed Independent Social Work- Clinical Practice (LISW-CP for short). I typically work with older teens (16 and older), adults, couples, and families who are navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, familial issues, identity exploration, neurodiversity, and difficult external stressors.
I am deeply rooted in person-centered care and a collaborative approach, which helps foster a secure and warm space for my clients to explore what their goals are for therapy. I utilize somatic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, parts work, and EMDR.
You are taking the first steps towards your journey in healing- and that is remarkable and courageous. I am here for you when you are ready to get started and I am honored to be considered as a part of that journey.

"As a neurodivergent and queer person, I am dedicated to helping my clients feel secure, safe, and empowered to begin their healing journey."
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients knew about therapy would be how the healing journey is not linear and that does not make them weak or mean something about them is wrong. It is a courageous and vulnerable decision to begin therapy, and that is a major strength!
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
My clients can expect a warm and gentle approach that fosters a laid back energy as a way for us to get to know each other. They can also expect for us to discuss what brought them in for therapy, what their goals are, and to learn about the approaches I offer as a therapist. I also think clients often discover that I am very down-toearth and enjoy integrating humor when appropriate as a way to help foster comfort.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy to my client's unique needs by first focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship with them. It is during this time that I can learn more about them as a person and enables me to focus on using a collaborative approach that helps clients feel in control of their care and their sessions.
