About Latoya
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker - Clinical Practice with 21 years of experience supporting individuals on their path to healing and growth. I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity-related concerns, while creating a safe and affirming space for exploration and transformation. My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and empowerment, helping clients build resilience and reconnect with their inner strength.
I earned a Master’s in Social Work from Widener University. I use an integrative approach that blends cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and experience meaningful personal change.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where healing unfolds through self-discovery and connection. Together, we’ll explore challenges, identify strengths, and create a plan that supports your goals. Whether you’re seeking relief, clarity, or transformation, I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.

"As a woman who has experienced many life challenges, adjustments, and losses, I understand the importance of therapy. My work centers on balance, resilience, play, and self-exploration to see the whole person."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist to help people through their process of change and transformation into a healthier self.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I am passionate about assisting clients 18 years of age or older in their efforts to achieve wellness, wholeness, and emotional freedom. With love and gratitude for your interest, I am unable to assist clients who have legal issues, contact offenses, or recent psychiatric hospitalizations.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing is a journey and not a destination. Therapy is for everyone, and it's a method of self-care.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session is a get-to-know-each each other session. We are seeing if we are a good fit to work together. Then, together we will create a plan to achieve your goals.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I am guided by joy, rest, and resilience. Every client has a story to share, and I look forward to assisting in the creation of new chapters.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Each client is unique, and together we create a plan to manifest the desired changes.
