I'm a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I've developed a strong passion for working with individuals navigating complex life challenges. My experience has given me unique insight into the intersection of mental health and the justice system, and has shaped my compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to therapy. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, supportive space for healing and growth. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, focusing on building trust and working together toward meaningful change.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you create meaningful, lasting change. I use CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused Therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while developing practical tools for navigating life's challenges. Together, we'll work toward meaningful goals and create positive change.

You don't have to face life's challenges alone. I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate difficult seasons and create meaningful change. When you're ready, I invite you to take the next step toward healing and schedule an appointment.

"As one who has walked through my own experiences with trauma, loss, and mental health challenges, I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help, and I offer a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported as you navigate your own path toward healing."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Due to my own life experiences. I want to be the support for others that I needed and didn't have.

What types of clients do you work best with?

Adolescents and adults; I am very open-minded.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

It is not a linear progression, there will be setbacks and harder days and that is okay.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Rapport building and open-ended questions. I like to get a clear understanding of who my clients are and what their goals are so I know how to prepare for follow up sessions.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I have overcome many life challenges and trauma. I value open communication, trust, and confidentiality.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I believe therapy should meet you where you are. I take time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals, then tailor our work to what feels most helpful for you. Together, we'll build practical tools and meaningful strategies that support your growth, healing, and lasting change.
