Hi! I’m a South Carolina LPC & Addiction Counselor (ADC) specializing in mental health and substance use. I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space to help you navigate dual-diagnosis challenges, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. Whether you are working toward recovery or breaking old cycles, we will collaborate on practical tools tailored to your unique journey.
I use CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing to support people experiencing substance use challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, and other concerns. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I’ll meet you with compassion, respect, and support as you take steps toward the changes you want. When you feel ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment and begin at your own pace.

"As a person who has experienced personal loss and trauma and have been sober for 17 years, I have a genuine understanding of pain in life experiences and can offer hope in building new life skills to successfully navigate those circumstances."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose counseling because I want to offer others the kind of support that made a meaningful difference in my own life. My experience showed me the power of feeling heard and supported, and it inspired my passion for helping others find hope, strength, and a path forward.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are open to exploring their experiences and working toward change at their own pace. I support people navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, and other challenges, and I tailor therapy to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn’t always linear, and seeking support doesn’t mean you have to have everything figured out. Progress can happen one small step at a time, and you deserve compassion and support throughout the process.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect a welcoming, judgmentfree space to share what brings them to therapy and what they hope to achieve. In the first session, we’ll begin getting to know one another, discuss relevant background and goals, and consider what support may be helpful. Early sessions are collaborative and paced around each client’s comfort, with time to ask questions and shape a plan together.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by compassion, respect, curiosity, and the belief that each person deserves to be heard without judgment. I value collaboration and honor each client’s strengths, experiences, and goals, creating space for growth at a pace that feels right for them.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
To tailor therapy to each client’s needs, start by learning about their goals, strengths, concerns, culture, and preferences. Collaborate on a plan, choose approaches and strategies that fit, and check in regularly about what’s helping. Adjust the pace and methods as their needs change, while creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard and involved.
