About Felicia
I am a licensed professional counselor and board-approved supervisor (LPC-S) with 25 years of experience supporting youth, adults, and families across schools, state agencies, and community settings. I work with clients ages 9 and up who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, major life transitions, family stress, and behavioral challenges—as well as the everyday pressure of balancing responsibilities while trying to care for themselves. My goal is to help clients build clarity, confidence, and emotional stability so they can move forward with greater peace and purpose.
My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care. Together, we'll build practical coping skills, deepen your emotional awareness, and work through life's challenges at a pace that feels right for you. Clients can expect a calm, nonjudgmental space where their experiences are honored and their goals guide the work we do together.
You deserve support that meets you where you are. When you're ready to take that next step toward healing and clarity, I'd be honored to walk alongside you—schedule a session and let's begin.

"I bring 25 years of experience walking alongside youth, adults, and families, and I show up as a steady, compassionate guide who honors your story, your strengths, and the growth you’re ready to claim. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because, from an early age, I was drawn to the stories people carry and the quiet pain they often hold alone. Over the years, I saw how the right support at the right time could change the entire trajectory of a person’s life—especially for youth and families facing complex challenges, systemic barriers, or generational patterns of hurt. Choosing this work was my way of honoring that calling: to create spaces where people feel genuinely seen, to help them name what they’re going through, and to walk with them as they discover new possibilities for healing, growth, and hope.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are ready for a supportive, collaborative space—youth, adults, and families who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next steps but are open to exploring new skills, new perspectives, and healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. I’m especially effective with individuals who value a calm, steady presence and appreciate a balance of practical tools, emotional insight, and compassionate accountability as they work toward greater stability, confidence, and peace.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish every client knew is that healing isn’t about being perfect or “getting over” things—it’s a gradual, deeply human process where small steps, honest moments, and compassionate support can create real, lasting change, even when progress feels slow or uncertain.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we focus on getting to know you—your concerns, your strengths, and what you hope to change—while I guide you through a clear, structured conversation that helps us identify your goals and begin building a plan for support; in the early stages of therapy, we’ll work together to establish trust, explore what’s been weighing on you, and introduce practical tools that help you feel more grounded and supported as we move forward.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My work is shaped by a deep belief in dignity, compassion, and the power of being truly seen—values rooted in my own lived experiences, my faith, and years of walking with individuals and families through seasons of challenge and change; these experiences have taught me to listen closely, honor each person’s story, and create a steady, supportive space where healing and growth can unfold at a pace that feels safe and authentic.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by taking time to understand each client’s story, strengths, cultural background, and goals, then adjusting my approach—whether that means using structured tools, offering space for reflection, or integrating skills‑based strategies—so the work feels relevant, supportive, and aligned with what they need to heal and grow.
