About Audrey
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with over 4 years of experience supporting individuals and families through their healing journeys. I help clients manage depression, anxiety, and mood disorders while building coping skills and resilience. I enjoy incorporating faith-based principles when welcomed, creating a therapeutic space that aligns with each client’s values. My goal is to help clients uncover strength and hope, using compassion and collaboration as the foundation for growth. I empower clients to recognize their resilience and practice positive change daily.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. My approach is strength-based, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy techniques to help clients build new perspectives, reframe distress, and develop healthier coping tools.
I look forward to welcoming you into a safe, judgment-free space where your story matters. No one is beyond healing, and I believe in meeting each client with empathy and understanding. Together, we’ll navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and take meaningful steps toward emotional wellness and peace.

"I know firsthand the pain of life and mental illness, and my passion is to provide hope to those who feel hurt, lonely, and misunderstood by using a blend of faith-based and cognitive behavioral therapy."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
During various life stressors of my own, I’ve benefited greatly from the empathy, kindness, and wise counsel of therapist and support groups, and I want to offer the same others!
What types of clients do you work best with?
I typically work best with clients recovering from depression, anxiety, and various mood issues, and with those who are eager to learn coping skills and grow in resiliency. Also, I work really well with individuals who want to incorporate Christian faith and Biblical principles into their sessions.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing is unique for everyone, and even though it’s not usually a quick process, it does happen with time and commitment!
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session will be a time to assess the client’s needs and personal history and a good portion of our time in the next couple sessions will be about rapport building and goal setting.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I’ve attended my own counseling for years, and the value of humbling myself and asking for help has deeply impacted me. It’s uncomfortable but crucial for healing and growth. Also, my faith in Jesus Christ is the most important part of my life and I love getting to be Light and Hope for clients who are experiencing heavy darkness and feel lost.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I request the client to give input on their expectations, their willingness and commitment to therapy, and what aspects of counseling that have and have not been helpful in any past therapy experiences. Also, I’ll use my professional judgment to suggest which approaches will be most useful to the client, and base the focus of each session on the client’s needs that day and their overarching goals.
