About Mara

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 21 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-informed mental health care in community and outpatient settings. I work with adults and children experiencing PTSD, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, and major life transitions. My clients often feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain, looking for relief from distress, healthier coping skills, or greater self-understanding. I strive to create a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, and I work with each client to build on their strengths and move toward lasting change.

My approach is warm and collaborative—meaningful change happens when you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move at your own pace. I specialize in anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. I tailor our work to your needs, recognizing there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.

It's a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they find healing, strengthen their faith, and pursue their goals. My hope is that each person feels seen, valued, and supported as they grow. I take time to understand your story and what matters to you. I'm here to meet you with care and respect. I'd be honored to connect—please make an appointment to start.
