I am a licensed clinical social worker with 15 plus years of experience in the mental health and substance use fields. I specialize in supporting people with depression, trauma, anxiety, substance use, and life transitions (65+). I have worked in outpatient mental health and substance use settings. I take a collaborative approach to therapy.

I have a certificate in cognitive behavior therapy and work with clients to identify negative thought patterns and feelings of being stuck. Through therapy I assist clients in working and challenging those negative distortions to improve wellbeing and confidence.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgement free space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to work towards the life you want. You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone and I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.

"I know it can be scary to take the first step in getting help, but always remember it is brave and courageous to ask for help and that is what I am here for."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I started my career in therapy as a volunteer and found that I enjoyed working with people and supporting their wellness journeys.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I am adaptable with who I work with.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

There is no shame in needing support and therapy. There is a challenge to opening up and being vulnerable and it can be rewarding.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

We will complete a biopsychosocial and see if we are a good fit.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I practice from a place of non-judgment, safe, and compassionate lens and I want to you to feel comfortable as you go through this process.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I work with a variety of clients and adapt my process to help fit their needs.
