About Natalia
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over eight years of experience in the mental health field. I'm passionate about helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, low self-esteem, life transitions, poor coping skills, and chronic stress. My experience working with low-income individuals and families, combined with living with a physical disability, allows me to provide compassionate guidance and support clients are seeking.
I earned my bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Art and my master’s in Clinical Counseling from Alvernia University. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused methods to help clients feel empowered and understood.
I know starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and encouraged. I help them build on their strengths and take steps toward their goals. Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone today!

"In a world that can feel overwhelming and chaotic, I hold space for you to slow down, breathe, and rediscover hope."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Growing up, I dreamed of a career where I could truly make a difference. When I discovered psychology and counseling, I realized it was the perfect way to combine my love for helping others with the chance to guide them toward growth and hope.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I love working with clients who are consistent, curious, and open to trying new strategies, particularly those who come in with a “to-do list” and are ready to collaborate to make each session meaningful.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Each client is unique, so I adapt therapy to fit their goals, strengths, and style. We might use tools like reading materials, worksheets, diagrams, or a feelings wheel, as well as creative media such as videos or podcasts. If assignments feel challenging, we work through it together in session, keeping therapy flexible, supportive, and collaborative. Watching clients have breakthroughs makes it all worthwhile!
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect a welcoming and supportive space in their first session. I focus on building a positive, trusting connection while learning about their background, history, and what matters most to them. In the early stages, we gather information, explore goals, and begin creating a plan together.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I love reminding clients that “no” is a complete sentence. Learning to set boundaries is a key part of the healing process and taking good care of yourself.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I approach every session with kindness, empathy, and a genuine love for helping others. I want clients to feel truly seen and supported as we explore their goals together, celebrate their strengths, and take positive steps toward growth and healing in a safe, welcoming space.
