About Megan
I am a licensed social worker (LSW) with 2 years of experience, and I support clients navigating identity, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, major life transitions, disordered eating, hoarding, and building new habits. My work is strengths-based and person-centered, and I tailor support to each person’s needs, goals, and lived experiences. My practice is inclusive and affirming, and I have particular experience working with women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I earned my master’s in clinical social work from Temple University. I bring a balance of warmth, practical skills, humor, and compassionate feedback to each session. I help clients identify strengths, explore therapeutic tools, and use approaches that best support their growth, healing, and self-understanding.
Making meaningful change, whether setting goals, learning new coping skills, or navigating challenges, takes courage. I honor that step and welcome the chance to walk beside you as you begin this process. If you’re ready to map out your first steps, I invite you to reach out and schedule an appointment.

"I believe deeply in the transformative power of the mind, and if you show up with something in yourself that you want to work on and the motivation to do so, I know with time we can identify your preferred path and make that journey together."

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I would like all clients to know that healing and working on mental health goals are a process. Therapy is not a "quick-fix", but it is a space set especially for you- sessions are shaped to meet you where you are and help you learn tools you can use to get to where you want to be. Growth and healing require patience, but you are always worth being patient with yourself.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
All sessions are a place of unconditional positive regard and non-judgement. In our first sessions we will establish mutual expectations for our time together, talk about what brings you to therapy, review some of your personal information, and discuss your needs and/or goals.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy to support each unique client's needs through actively listening, working to gain a clear and thorough understanding of their identity and needs, and by bringing to sessions the resources of my education, experience, and consistent drive researching evidence-backed interventions.
