About Marissa
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 3.5 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I began my career in a nonprofit setting, working with diverse populations and a wide range of concerns. I help clients navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions who are seeking greater clarity, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of control in their lives.
I work with all ages, including children, families, couples, and adults. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques. My approach is trauma-informed and focused on getting to the root of distress. I integrate CBT, ACT, ESFT, and DBT to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and support meaningful, lasting change.
I understand how difficult it can be to take the first step toward change. You deserve a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. When you're ready, I welcome you to begin your journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

"I believe every client is unique and deserves care that best fits their needs, as therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach."
