About Maria
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 27 years of experience supporting individuals facing mental health challenges and everyday stressors. I bring a compassionate, strategic approach that helps clients navigate change, reduce stress, and build emotional resilience. My focus is on helping people stabilize their mental health, strengthen coping skills, and achieve lasting growth. My therapeutic style blends evidence-based care with empathy and insight to create progress that’s both measurable and meaningful. I specialize in supporting anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
I earned a Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College. My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based methods, and trauma-informed care to help clients gain insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward meaningful change.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or simply need space to be heard and supported, you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out is a powerful first step, and I’m here to walk beside you with care and understanding. When you’re ready, I invite you to begin your journey toward healing and growth in a safe, supportive space.

"My approach is holistic, integrating mind, body, and social environment."
