What clients say

These testimonials are from real clients who completed a satisfaction survey after their sessions and agreed to share their feedback. Results may vary.

Its only my second session, but I'm liking the experience of being able to talk out my feelings. And for someone to offer feedback. Even though it may not be what I want to hear,....

Get to know Lauren

Why did you decide to become a counselor?

I had an amazing counselor when I was a child. I fondly remember her and how much she helped me. Since then, I have always wanted to help others in the same way.

What types of clients do you work with best?

I greatly enjoy working with adults and the elderly. Regardless of the clients age or challenges, I strive to make them feel comfortable, understood, and encourage them to have faith in the therapeutic process.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

Women, mothers, and young adults.

What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?

That you don't need to have severe symptoms or big challenges in your life to seek therapy!

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

Potential clients can easily and discreetly seek therapy online or over the phone. In addition, Thriveworks strives to provide the best service and support for their clients and their employees.

What inspires you?

I feel inspired when individuals recognize that they are important and worthy of a better life.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

For me to learn about their challenges and their goals. For the client or couple to learn about me and how we can work together to improve themselves and/or their relationships.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I want my clients to start to develop rapport, feel understood, and for them to understand how I can help them.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

I enjoy cooking for my family, socializing with friends, laughing and playing with my children.

What’s one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

I love being a mother to my beautiful daughter and son.
