About Jessica
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 14 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in working with individuals navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and take a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Widener University. My approach is integrative and systemic, helping clients understand how life systems impact emotional well-being. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy to identify automatic and distorted thinking patterns and support meaningful change.
I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help, and I view that step as a sign of strength. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. Together, we can challenge negative self-talk, build insight, and help you move forward with clarity and confidence

"I understand the pressure to keep going even when things are really heavy. I want to support you in working through life's challenges so that your life can feel as fulfilled as possible."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I chose to become a clinical social worker because I believe that everyone has a purpose and everyone has the right to be heard and seen. I want people to be able to see their value and to make progress to become who they desire to be.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I am adaptable with the clients I work with.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
There is no shame in needing therapy and acknowledging that you need additional support in your life. It can be a challenging process and it can be very rewarding at the same time.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session will include a biopsychosocial where I get to know you. We will work towards rapport building so that you feel we are a good fit.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I believe that every person brings value to the world. I have worked with many individuals who feel they are at a place of hopelessness and it is an honor to be able to see individuals mindset change through the therapeutic process.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I have worked with a variety of clients with different presenting needs. I am able to adapt my style to ensure that anyone who is working with me feels safe and heard. I also frequently check in with my clients to see how they feel therapy is progressing to ensure they are getting their needs met.
