What types of clients do you work with best?
I love to work with teenagers and young adults who are struggling with mental health or life transitions.
What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?
“I know that there is not one formula to help each person. I am interested in getting to know you to help you discover what works best to meet your needs in therapy and to overcome your own challenges.”
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
Thriveworks allows me to continue to offer help and support to those who need it around my own timeframe. It allows me to focus on both professional and personal goals. When counselors are able to take care of themselves and their personal lives, they are better equipped and focused on how to help clients as well.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
In my first session with a client, I want that individual to leave feeling a sense of relief that they found someone who can help them achieve their goals and overcome their obstacles.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Anything outdoors, reading, and spending time with my daughter.
What inspires you?
Seeing people reach their personal goals and build a life that they want is inspiring to me.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In a first session, a client can expect to leave feeling like they were heard and that their concerns were understood. They can expect to leave with a plan of how we will address their concerns together moving forward.
