About Jalyn
Jalyn Elmore is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of experience serving teens and adults who are dealing with relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Jalyn believes that therapy should be a safe space for individuals and couples to engage in healing, whether from trauma endured during childhood or adulthood, using techniques to help aid in creating healthy boundaries with others and maintain healing.
Jalyn earned a Master’s in Community and Trauma Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University. She provides culturally competent and trauma-informed approaches to assist individuals in their overall well-being, combining person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy techniques.
Jalyn is passionate about therapy and holds each person accountable and challenges them based on their established goals to become their best selves and thrive through life. She looks forward to building a therapeutic relationship that will lead you towards feelings of empowerment and sharpen the skills to navigate life's choices and challenges.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I always was passionate in supporting individuals in their life’s journeys as a non-judgmental listening ear, not even realizing it was going to later be my career path. I decided to do something I loved.

It’s perfectly fine to give yourself praise for the “little” things.
