About Edith
Edith Hutchins-Stieglitz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been practicing for 8 years and has experience with individual, family, and group therapy with adults, seniors, and children. Edith also has experience with residential treatment and intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization group therapy. She seeks to support clients to increase insight and awareness into themselves and their lives and empower them to create desired change.
Edith completed her bachelor's degree in Sociology at UMass Boston and her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Wheelock College. She practices using a strengths-based, culturally competent, and trauma-informed approach, and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to tailor treatment to each individual.
Edith brings a strengths-based approach and compassionate spirit to her sessions. She believes that people have the ability to create change in their lives and she seeks to be a positive support and advocate for them on their journeys toward greater fulfillment and life satisfaction.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
To begin the process of trust and rapport-building through providing a safe space for people to express their thoughts and feelings.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Spend time with family, watch movies.

I love to laugh and incorporate humor into my daily life.
