About Charlotte
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 13 years of experience in the behavioral and mental health field. I work with individuals, families, and adolescents who feel overwhelmed by emotions, relationships, or life responsibilities and want to build confidence, emotional regulation, and healthier coping skills. I commonly support clients experiencing anxiety, mood concerns, trauma, impulsivity, and family conflict, as well as those navigating major life transitions.
I earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Rosemont College. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and trauma-informed, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to support emotional awareness, self-control, and personal growth.
Together, we will identify your strengths, address unhelpful patterns, and develop practical tools to help you feel more empowered and grounded in your daily life. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can work toward meaningful, lasting change and a more fulfilling future.

"My therapy approach is warm, authentic, and empowering. I meet you where you are and help you take practical steps toward emotional balance and self-discovery."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
As an African American woman, many of the challenges I faced were often unheard or unaddressed. These experiences shaped my understanding of what it feels like to navigate life without adequate support and instilled in me a strong sense of purpose. Today, I am committed to helping others feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their own life journeys.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with individuals who are motivated to engage in the therapeutic process and open to personal growth. I am also experienced in supporting those who may initially struggle with confidence, motivation, or skill development and need guidance to build these areas.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy lays the groundwork for emotional healing, and your continued effort and commitment are essential to sustaining progress and growth.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect to identify their strengths while developing meaningful goals and gaining a deeper understanding of their individual needs.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Having faced life’s challenges, I am able to empathize deeply and provide support tailored to each client’s individual needs. Authenticity, empathy, and a strong commitment to ethical and professional values are central to my practice.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I start by creating a trusting, supportive relationship to get to know you and your experiences. From there, we work together to develop a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs and goals.
