About Provider

About Pam

I am a clinical mental health and substance abuse therapist with the licensures LPCC, LICDC, in the state of Ohio as well as a certified somatic therapy foundations practitioner. I provide clinical therapy to individuals, couples & families.

I primarily use implementation of evidence-based cognitive, behavioral motivational family systems and reality-based therapeutic tools to support guidance through a journey towards empowerment for a happy healthy balanced well-being.

I close out each session by asking clients if they have any questions, giving a summary wrap-up of the discussion, thanking them for taking a huge step toward the healing process and allowing me to be a part of it, and giving them the steps for setting up follow-up appointments.

My life's mission has always been from a perspective of being an attentive, listener, mentor, helper, and to be supportive of other with empathy and without judgement to welcome change.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work well with those clients who want/need support, assistance and guidance towards a healing pathway to a healthy happy lifestyle.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Therapy can provide a foundation to achieve emotional control and empowerment.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

At the beginning of the therapeutic relationship, clients can expect to be welcomed to a safe calm space to share, be heard and be supported with openness and empathy.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Some keys experiences that inform my practice as a therapist, surround a nucleus as a mentor and seeing the needs of others to be met at their level, with empathy and support. Seeing communities' needs, inspired me to want to be the change that I want to see in the world.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor my therapeutic approach to be adaptable to the needs of the client as a whole, including opening with a person-centered approach, allowing autonomy, while being flexible to support learning style as well as cultural needs.
